"Paul Jonathan Trollope" is a former Wales national football team/Welsh international Association football/football midfielder and current head coach of Cardiff City F.C./Cardiff City. He was manager of Bristol Rovers F.C./Bristol Rovers from 2005 to 2010.

As a player, he began his career with Swindon Town F.C./Swindon Town in 1989, but made his name at Torquay United F.C./Torquay United between 1992 and 1995. He then transferred to Derby County F.C./Derby County, before signing with Fulham F.C./Fulham in 1997. After five years he moved on to Northampton Town F.C./Northampton Town via Coventry City F.C./Coventry City. He joined his final club, Bristol Rovers F.C./Bristol Rovers, in 2004, before retiring as a player in 2007.

We were hoping Chris would be able to join in training today. He's done brilliantly at left-back and gives us a lot of width and pace going forward, so he's crucial to the way we want to play.
