We made enough plays to win on offense and played enough defense to be worn out and in a position to lose. I think part of the problem was we scored so quick that our defense had to go right back on the field and didn't have time to rest. We weren't tackling very well. We couldn't get people to the point of attack.

They kept us off balance and made it tough for us to get a rhythm on defense as well. They kept us off balance, doing the things they were doing.

Teams came in and more or less used the meat market deal where they line them up and if they don't pass a certain height and size, they pass them by.

Before you take a versatile football player and move him, you want to be sure he understands one position solidly. Then you have to find time in practice to line him up in the right situations and prepare properly.

We were just gonna really run it out, and (Hart) stepped back and flipped a long one.

He and Faron are on the same page an awful lot in practice.

He's got a great arm. I think, physically, at this stage of the game, Chris weighs a little more than Adrian (McPherson) did and might, because of that, be able to make certain throws (McPherson couldn't).

We have to keep his hands on the ball. He played the first half, beginning to end. He adds another dimension as a quarterback.

We came out the blocks real well. We did a much better job playing defense against them than we did in the past.
