You can take a look at your support systems in place. We continue to assess and analyze all of that, including summer school and mentoring programs.

In general, BGSU has done an outstanding job. Yet you also want to do better, and we've got some areas that we need to improve and are focusing on to get better.

We have really worked hard at establishing a foundation for success. I feel comfortable leaving, I think the foundation is there for my successor to be successful.

I think the MAC has to earn respect. I don't think we've been very strategic. The league has recognized we have to do better.

I think you ought to dominate the league. I think the program ought to dominate the league, and that makes it a player nationally. I think that's very possible and very doable. I would say right now this is a very good program. The program is good, but the goal ought to be to be great.
