That's just great for the whole valley.

There was a real good crowd here, the place was packed, and the girls played a real good game.

If the other team is a better team, it doesn't take away from anything they've done in the last two years.

It was just like it was meant to be. The atmosphere, the intensity, it was a great game.

For years it was just Central, Central. Everybody tried to elevate their game to be like them.

But this one is so special because my daughter [Amy] is a part of it, and we beat so many good teams this year. We won 31 games. That's pretty amazing in itself.

It's a great honor to be recognized by the state. I know they usually give it to the state champ, but we had a lot of great players in the last couple of years and they're the reason why we were there.
