"Patrick Holmes" is an Ireland/Irish Canoe racing/sprint canoer who competed in the late 1980s and early 1990s. At the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, he was eliminated in the semifinals of both the Canoeing at the 1988 Summer Olympics – Men's K-1 1000 metres/K-1 1000 m and Canoeing at the 1988 Summer Olympics – Men's K-2 500 metres/K-2 500 m events. 1992 Summer Olympics/Four years later in Barcelona, Holmes was eliminated in the semifinals of both the Canoeing at the 1992 Summer Olympics – Men's K-1 500 metres/K-1 500 m and the Canoeing at the 1992 Summer Olympics – Men's K-1 1000 metres/K-1 1000 m events.
