"Oliver Hoyte" is a former American football linebacker. He was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2006. After earning a roster spot as a reserve linebacker and a solid special teams prospect, Hoyte took advantage of a mid-season position switch to fullback and performed with a high level of productivity. After a rookie year of learning under fire, Hoyte racked up 19 starts at fullback and saw plenty of action with the Dallas regular offense during 2006 and 2007 campaign. He eventually grew into a key role player on an offensive unit that enjoyed one of the most productive seasons in club history. He played college football at NC State Wolfpack football/North Carolina State.

I haven't played against them in a long time. If you lose you're going to have to hear from them.

I'm a very loyal person. I lived 5 yards from their school and they didn't offer [a scholarship]. I don't understand it.

He has so many different running styles. On one play he's running like a scat back. On one play he's running like a power back. He's a versatile back.

It doesn't matter to me when we play. I think our team seems to play better at night, and I don't know why, but I kind of like early games. Everything just happens so fast. I think it's better than waiting around all day.

If they were the first school to offer me, I would have committed right then and there. They're right in my back yard. All these other schools are recruiting you from out of state, and this school's five minutes from your house. They should have been the first school to offer me. I pretty much based my decision off that.

There is no reason why they shouldn't have a good season next year. This team is surrounded by great players. I am in love with our players. If I were a coach, I would love the possibilities.
