These games were huge for us.

Any time a fielder calls you off, they have a better chance of making the play.

Anytime you can throw three or four pitches for strikes, it's going to be tough on the hitter, ... starts on a different plane. The fastball, changeup and slider are all on a downward angle. Anytime you can change the hitter's eye level, that helps.

Today again was another battle for me. But winning the series was big, especially after losing the first game. That says a lot about this team, its demeanor and character. It's another series win for us and we hope to continue it on in Washington.

It's great news. The main thing was confidence in all my pitches and staying consistent. I had all four pitches working, and that basically was it.

It's unbelievable to see, ... He brings a new piece of energy to this team. It's only going to help us.

The thing I'm most upset about was walking Gonzalez. I've got to be able to execute pitches and give us a chance to get out of it. I can't walk a guy on four pitches. That's unacceptable, but it happened, and it ended up blowing the game wide open.

It's unbelievable to see what he does.

They could have easily sent me down to work on some things, ... They didn't. They had the confidence in me that I would turn it around. I feel like I was given the chance. And I'm trying to do something with it now.
