It is very important that as we go along, we meet the commitments made to each other. And that we not move the goalposts or, as we say in American English, raise the bar.

We look forward to the US Congress passing the legislation to enable full civil nuclear energy cooperation between the two countries early next year.

There is significant support for it on the Capitol Hill. There may be some Congressmen who have doubts about it. But I am convinced that the US Congress will support the agreement.

There is a great deal of frustration in the United States that this problem has not been resolved after such a long time.
