With such a young team, that really wasn't even a goal of ours at the beginning of the season, but at this point, I think we're definitely in contention to win another subsection title. We're peaking at the right time.

I let him know exactly how it was. I told him it was all on his shoulders and he was going to have to be the one to step up and win the match for the team. He had the whole weight of the world on his shoulders, but he understood what he had to do and he executed.

He definitely has state potential. Technically, he's very sound. He's excellent at takedowns as well as with his pin combinations. He's really lethal when he gets on top.

At most matches or tournaments, you're always proud of a lot of the boys, but there's also one or two disappointments. But in this match, there were zero disappointments. Every kid gave all they had. It's one of my proudest moments, seeing the team come together like that.

He's a great kid. He shows up to every practice. He never misses anything.

From that moment on, he knew he could be the best.

It's going to be a good time. This team works so well together. It's going to be a little sad to see some of the boys drop out and not move on, but I think all the kids are really optimistic about the outcome this weekend.

He's been the same size and ability for awhile now, but he finally believes in himself. He's starting to get the success he deserves.

Everything we've worked on all year is coming together right now. Every kid is just so confident and they truly believe that they can all be champions. Everyone feeds off each other. No one wants to go out and give half a performance. Every kid wants to be a star.
