That had nothing to do with him. With the limp he had, I didn't think he (could). But he just loosened up (his shoe), pulled it a lot tighter and walked back in on his own.

That's just emotion; he wants to win so bad. With big guys, there are so many petty jealousies that exist. ... I mean, if he missed a dunk or an easy shot, sometimes the place would go wild. To me, that's kind of sad, but it goes with the territory.

In all the years I coached, he is as determined as anybody I've ever had. He has the heart of a lion. He plays hard and it means a lot to him.
