He works hard. He's the type of guy who will take five great swings in BP, and if he takes one bad one he's upset. He's a perfectionist. That's what's going to drive him.

From the time this game started, the guys in the middle of your lineup have hit the home runs and driven the runs in. Now, those guys tend to strike out, too.

He went down [to the Minors] and got his swing. He's more relaxed now. That's the big thing. The confidence level is high, and he's getting good pitches to hit. He went through a phase when they pounded him and hit him with soft stuff. Once you lay off the soft stuff, they have to come back to you. That's what has happened.

As long as they're productive, it all evens out.
