Villa are a quality club, and I don't consider this a backward step at all. My situation will be better there.
I think I can play in Europe with Villa and I always want to achieve big things. Villa have just missed out by a few points or one or two positions in recent years. But we have the squad to push for that.
Villa increased their offer and we've come to an agreement on the financial front. But that doesn't mean that it's already a done deal.
Angel has played here for a long time and Kevin is a great signing for Villa as well. They are both great players. They are different players but both good.
Their first goal kind of startled us, but we didn't panic. We're an experienced side and knew it was a matter of just getting going.
It is never easy leaving Liverpool but if you are going to a big club that helps - and Aston Villa is a big club.
I think there are some quality players here and hopefully we can qualify to play in Europe next season. That would be great for the club, the players and the fans. I am impressed with this club. There is lots of quality here and together I think we can go forward this season. I just can't wait to play and start scoring.
Both of them are great players.
