These two matches haven't been pretty, but we've found ways to get the job done. In non-district, we spent time finding out what didn't work instead of what worked, but you have to do that sometimes.

Playing one match in two weeks will help us prepare for district better. This gives us the opportunity to heal some of our injuries and practice on the things we need to work on. We'll be spending a lot of time drawing up scoring plays. We want to be flying before district play starts.

We play well in the first 15 minutes, but we can't put anything away. When they score, it takes our momentum away. We have our work cut out for us down the stretch, but it's doable if we want to do it.

We had to tie the match in regulation just to get to the shootout, but were able to carry that momentum over to the shootout.

Playing on the road may have also contributed to our struggles. This is our first home match and the guys are ready to play in front of the home crowd.

It was disappointing. We missed too many chances. I'm pleased with our ball movement and we've created plenty of chances, but we need to get the ball into the net.
