We worked hard on that the other day in practice. We worked on a set squad to go out there and play hard defense until they turned it over or we decided it was time to foul.

I'm fine. It's not over 'til it's over, that's what I've always heard. We were confident.

I can't tell you how excited I am. We went from how down we were Friday night to the elation that we feel tonight. It is really both ends of the spectrum.

Our hope was that she got back at all. She's still out of shape and is playing about 18 minutes a game, but she looks healthy and hasn't shown any signs of problems.

We realized as we talked to some other coaches that she hit those big shots in a lot of games. The first time we played her she wasn't really a factor, but we said tonight that we have to know where No. 14 (Short) is at all times and have a hand in her face.

Big plays and mental mistakes bit us in the butt.

We're holding her out until we feel her play would hold us out of playing anymore. She's participating in the warm-ups. She's dressing. She's available.

These girls have come a long way in the last three years.

That's their game. They can keep it slow and pass the ball around, and we let them do that early on?it took our kids a little while to get going.
