Marian seems to have improved considerably over the first time we met. They seemed to get their hands on everything. We needed to be much more aggressive with the basketball. They scored too many transition baskets.

I thought we were very aggressive during the first half and our zone pressure disrupted them somewhat. We really executed well at times. Later on, their pressure put us out of sync.

We've got to turn around quickly and play. We will be playing a good Benet Academy team (tonight).

We expected Nazareth to battle us like everyone else in this conference, and they did. We took their shot, though, and didn't back down.

They (St. Joseph) obviously stepped it up a notch after halftime. They do such a good job of finding the open man when they're into it. In fact, they're so good that they can take bad shots and make them. And, when they miss, they just go to the glass.

We tried to use a zone to slow Marian down but they shot us out of that pretty quickly. Their shooting seemed to give them more confidence with the trap. They're a quick and talented bunch.

It really feels good to finally execute at both ends of the floor. We have been so close so many times, to get one is sweet. Hopefully it is a beginning for us. It sure feels good.

Coby did a nice job. He had some nice moves attacking the basket from the post, and I was really happy the way he kept his poise.

They did a nice job getting Kane going early. We didn't rotate quick enough defensively, and this was one of those nights when they just shot so well.
