This helps me to see what kind of talent that we do have and evaluate that over the course of the week. Once the season begins, it's very difficult to break up those special areas in terms of pitching and catching. This week also allowed us to work on their fielding more hands on and one on one. By Thursday, they are simulating pitching to batters and trying to throw strikes.

I'm pleased with everybody's effort. It was a 100 percent better than the first game. This time we came out in the first inning, instead of the sixth.
