This festival had been a goal of the Village for quite some time. Without Seton Hall, however, they just didn't have the means to make it happen.

It raised close to $500 to benefit the South Orange Rescue Squad.

They painted signs that read 'No dumping' and 'Save the fish' so the river would be a lot cleaner.

At first, there were not even 300 volunteers. They just kept hoping every year that it would get bigger and bigger, and it did.

It's all about service to others. It's really a selfless day.
