It's been three years. It was a good game, and Mountain Pointe is a good team. I guess when you have zero' at the end of regulation you are doing something right.

Power points make every game important.

I think Corona will be back. They will be a better team. I wouldn't count them out in the region.

Collin puts himself in the right position at the right time.

We're honored that we played well enough to get to this point. The thing that we'll look at is that there's only a handful of teams that have been able to win back-to-back championships. I think that will weigh heavily on our mind.

We call Collin Mr. February. He has the ability to make timely saves. He made the extraordinary look pretty ordinary.

Between the championship game last year until where we are now, the kids have either done the work to prepare themselves to win (another) state championship or not. (But) I think the kids are very excited to build a program. They want to be a strong part of that. Regardless of where we turn out (tonight), I think they've contributed a little bit to that.

The thinking in the back of our heads was we had other players scoring goals last year. It was a matter of whether they matured over that year, and whether that maturity would compensate or develop the type of attack Nick and Kevin provided us last year. I think those players are doing that.

We finally penetrated their box and put the ball toward the net. We talked at halftime about being more aggressive inside . . . and we were definitely more aggressive in that moment.
