If we're going to deal with the greenhouse gas issue in California, we're going to have to go down this road.

We hope that the parallel efforts on both coasts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions will help move the ball forward on initiatives to reduce emissions and mitigate global climate change in the United States and around the world.

I'm personally sympathetic to the plight of these Indians. But should California rate-payers be paying for the investments and job training they want? You could argue either side.
