This event has its challenges. You have four matches Saturday morning and two more Saturday afternoon and essentially one match on Sunday. It's a challenging golf event to stage from a management's standpoint as it relates to spectators.

We're going to have bookend events with the weather, because it was perfect the first year here in '99. I don't want to jinx it, but if the last two years were 2 or 3 on a scale of 1 to 10, we're probably looking at an 8 or 9.

It looks quite likely that Sergio will not be participating. Outside of that, I've heard of no one else who would not be coming.

Without question, La Costa is one of the top 10, or even the top five of the non-major venues. Of the regular tour stops, it's the most recognizable venue of the last 40 years.
