This one has similarities to the storm in late January of 1966. That one produced blizzard conditions over New England and New York, and there also was quite a bit of heavy snow down into the Washington area.

With the levy passing I am extremely happy. Now we can get back to the business of doing what's good for kids and improving the education of kids instead of taking away like we've been doing the last couple of years.

But we're not looking at anything like we've seen in the last few days like central Texas.

Yeah, the Cascade Mountains, the Sierras, the Bitterroots will probably get at least six inches, ... That's normal for this time of year.

We're not expecting any significant snowfall tonight. Within a few hours, the worst of it will be gone.
