The games this weekend are league games. We are still concerned about playoffs. Rhode Island is No. 5 nationally. We want to show them that we are not a No. 12 team. Maybe a win against them would put us back on the radar.

We need to take our defensive zone coverage to heart, once again. But once we get out of our defensive zone, our breakouts and ability to score will not be a problem.

We never really had control of the game against Buffalo. Their players took it to us. I believe the lack of practice time and not having enough players to put together a team were the reasons for not winning. When the last day of the season came down, we just weren't well prepared.

We've been working this week on defensive zone coverage, trying to fix some deficiencies uncovered last weekend. We've also worked on fundamentals, like shooting and basic passing.

When their backs are against the wall, they will come out flying. There is no lack of hustle on this team. I will never doubt their conditioning or their heart.

I am so proud of these girls, they played great all weekend and I could not have asked for more. They did what they needed to do and played with their backs against the wall. I am just really, really proud of them.

It was a Hail Mary goal from the blue line that just crippled us and we never recovered.

I got exactly what I expected from this team this year. There was never a point where I thought we were playing below our talent level. We were always at or above what I expected.

We couldn't make a mistake. We needed to play well and take our chances when they were present, but we couldn't make a mistake or it would cost us.
