Offensively, the team was very patient. Made good decisions. We played hard. We played smart. And we had fun. That was a big game for us.

I've got the best assistants in the world with Howard (Jones) and Lacy Johnson. When she says something the kids really listen. She said it's fundamental — you've got to have fun, and you've got to bring your mental game. If they play hard and play smart, they're going to have fun. If we do that, I know I'm going to have a good time.

We're excited to play anybody. That is a privilege. What can I say? Every day is an opportunity. This gets us to Overall. We're going to go out and fight and give it our best shot.

Brookhaven always has good teams and good coaching. You can never count them out. They're fundamentally sound. But as I've always said, if my girls play hard, they are tough to beat.

The girls played a beautiful game together. Our defensive unit was probably the best it played as a team all season.

I'm thankful because in all honesty, we haven't had a long time off. We had four days. They worked hard those days, and then we had this. These last four games gave us an opportunity to get back in our offense and defense and get ready to go.

I just feel like it's going to be a good game. Both teams are going to be real hungry. (Adams) is big, strong and athletic. They're in a lot of ways similar to (Columbia) with their guard play and inside game. AC may not be be there height-wise, but they may be stronger.

The second half we executed our offenses beautifully. They were mixing it up zone and man (on defense). But we were taking the high-percentage shot in the second half.
