In terms of progress and beautification, there's been a lot of positive things happening right in the area. That's almost a crossroad of our town and really it needs to look its best.

Historically, it would have been wonderful to save those buildings. Being that there was no groundswell of support (to save them), I'd rather see them down than to have them left in the condition they were left in.
