We faced the 5-on-3 early and that's not a situation you want to give up but we killed it off and it gave us some momentum. After that, we took care of business.

This is a good chance for me to face a good team.

Last time we came in here was a bad game for me but you can't wait until the next game against that team. He's helped a lot. He's been awesome for me since I got back here. Having him around to talk and keep me focused. We have some goals for every game and he keeps reminding me.

I wanted to come down here and have a good start. That didn't happen against Rochester and I was disappointed about that. It was big for me to get on the right track on Friday. I'm just looking for some stability. Not knowing where I was going to be was hard. Hopefully, this will make it easier to come to the rink and focus on the ice.

I was just trying to stop the puck, wherever it was. I was fighting the puck a little bit.

I've got to deal with it, that's the situation I'm in right now. I try not to think about it, but a lot of people talk to me about it. You have to block it out. I'm reading the newspaper, I'm focusing every day on going to the rink and making the best out of it. If you think about that stuff, that's where you go crazy.

I was 20 and was really taken by surprise. So, I try to stay away from everything because I know how crazy it is.

This is much better than the situation I was in, I waited for a trade for two months.

I think I gave the team a chance to win both games. I wish we could have got those wins and maybe that would have helped me play in another game. I'm trying to do my best to learn the team, how they play and how they respond in front of me. I'm trying to do so much more in practice to pick that up. I stay in at the end and take more shots to get my sharpness up.
