It's tough playing against the forwards we have with our speed and skill and a lot of times you have no option but to take a penalty.

I've played for eight years and I haven't see anything around our team. I'm sure there will be some out of 700 who are taking something but to say that there's one-third is obviously ridiculous.

It's never good when you're injured and missing days, but it's definitely not something that is going to keep me out for long. I haven't skated yet so that's going to be a big test, but I do feel pretty good.

If we play like this, there's not a chance we're going to get points.

The five-on-three, me and (teammate) Brendan (Morrison) got mixed up. It was a bad goal from our part, obviously. But we didn't play good enough to beat these guys.

I'm going to do more tests, but it looks pretty good. I feel better every day. It's definitely better today than it was two days ago. I don't think it's going to be very long [that I'll be out].

I don't think it's going to be a break for us. They're a hard-working team and the way we've played the last seven or eight games, we can't take anybody lightly. Obviously we have our issues ourselves to worry about. We have to look after ourselves and not be too concerned with what St. Louis is doing.

I'm not sure about the timing of this.

It's nice to contribute. We've been getting a lot of points from the defensemen so far. It's just nice to help out.
