"Matt Sherman" is the head coach of Stanford Cardinal/Stanford men's rugby team. Sherman has also lead the Stanford women's rugby team to a 2nd place finish in Division I in 2012. Previously, Sherman spent two seasons as San Diego State Aztecs/San Diego State's head coach, leading the Aztecs to the national semifinals in 2009 the national quarterfinals in 2010.

Sherman's coaching career includes various coaching positions with the USA Rugby U-18 Junior National Team, USA Rugby Collegiate All-Americans, and the U.S. senior national team, and was an assistant coach for the U.S. at the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

Sherman previously played as fly-half for the United States national rugby union team/U.S. men's national rugby team from 2003 to 2005, including one match at the 2003 Rugby World Cup.

Sherman began playing rugby at Piedmont High School. Sherman played college rugby at California Golden Bears rugby/Cal, and was a Collegiate All-American.

The priority must be given to working with the leadership corps at the provincial and city level, and ensure that their activities are coordinated with the elected representatives, other ministries, and local leaders in their respective area.
