We're going to have to get a little more play out of our guards if we want to try and beat Mater Dei, but I'm happy for the girls and happy for the win.

I think doing so well last year really helped prepare these girls this season. The girls have really bought into what we're trying to do ... and have really worked hard all year long.

Coach Bennett always focused on defense and a lot of man-to-man defense. It's what I grew up playing and what I like to teach to my teams. If the truth be known, we probably don't work hard enough on offense.

You can't go as long as we did without scoring. (Mater Dei) did a good job pushing us out so we couldn't get the ball to our post players.
