Mitchell had a great game. He had his best game passing ever going 12 for 26 and still rushed for 98 yards. He did great on defense with seven solo tackles and three assisted tackles.
I didn't want to lose my opportunity on the first shot, ... I didn't want to kick it out of bounds so I lobbed it down there. Luckily, the coverage team got down there and saved me a little bit. I kept getting better and better. I felt more comfortable as it went on. It could have been better but I'm happy with how it went.

It wasn't too much different [except] this time it was a lot better to come back - I had a wife to come back to.
It's tough to believe but I'm glad I got the shot.
I love being out here even if I wasn't going to play. I love to be a part of the team.
I was really happy with the JV. They stepped up and showed that they could play with older, stronger kids.
I'm disappointed. I thought I did well enough to make the team.
