We missed a bunch of shots early in the game. A lot of that was because of their defense. They have good athletes who move their feet and make things tough on offense.

We got off a fast start. We put some pressure on them and were able to get some easy baskets. It was a good all around game for us.

We defended Roeder very well. We held him to no field goals in the second half. But we put them on the line too much.

They're tough. South Shore just has too many weapons. They have a good post player and they have a lot of athletic guards that can move and get to the basket.

It was pretty much back and forth all night. Give all the credit to Butternut. They have some good shooters and they knocked down some big shots late.

It was tight all the way. The difference in the game was that we were able to close out on their shooters. We knew they like to play up-tempo and shoot a lot from the outside. But we did a great job of guarding them on the perimeter.

We picked up the pace in the fourth quarter because we had to. We were able to make some plays and make some shots in the last quarter. But that second quarter really put us in a tough situation.
