They wanted to stage celebrations throughout the county and in Baja (California). They recognized that we have a thriving arts community here. So it seemed a natural to build an exhibit here as part of the festival.

She paints marvelously. Her work is very abstract but very cool. I told her about the exhibit and she got very excited and created a special piece just for the show based on Mozart's Adagio No. 3 Sonata for Piano.
