Allison played her heart out and refused to be intimated by Brewton-Parker. It was the type of effort we needed from our entire team. We played soft tonight and allowed them to either knock the ball away or simply take it away from us.

We are certainly going to see some exciting basketball games. I can see four or five teams capable of getting hot and winning. We want to go into the tournament and continue to get better with each game.

We've got to do a better job of making the free throws and still need to cut down on our turnovers.

She is just going to keep getting better and better. She's tough and plays so hard. We've just got to get our post players playing that same way. We didn't get anything out of them today.

Lindsey gave us all she had. I couldn't have asked for anymore out of her. No one expected her to play in this tournament, but if they give a gutsy award, Lindsey certainly earned it.

They just simply wanted it more than we did. Down the stretch, they made the free throws and fought harder for the loose basketballs. We just didn't put forth the effort needed to win this type of game.

Morgan hasn't played that much this season, but she gave us a lift tonight. With Allison (Rader) in foul trouble and not playing well, we really needed this type of effort from Morgan.

They came out and really played well in the first 10 minutes of the second half. We seemed a step slow on defense and they made us pay for it with some excellent cuts to the basket.

For about a 13 or 14 minute stretch in the first half, we played as well as we have played all season. Shorter is a very good basketball team and I was pleased with our overall performance against them this evening.
