I thought he got stronger as the game went on. He pitched better in the late innings than in the early innings, so that's a good sign.

It's the leadoff man and he's always important because he gets more at-bats than anyone. You want good on-base percentage and Chase had that. He'll be tough to replace but I think those guys can do it.

Both times it was right after Rider last year. We were a little bit flat tonight, I don't know what it was, but you have to give credit to Denison too. We were glad to get out of it with a win.

Miles pitched well enough to keep us close. He hung in there and battled tonight. He didn't have his good command like he's had recently, but he battled long enough for us to eventually get a win.
