"Mark Nicholls" is an English former professional association football/footballer who played as a striker from 1994 until 2012, notably remembered for playing in the Premier League for Chelsea F.C./Chelsea. He was assistant manager to Neil Shipperley at North Greenford United F.C./North Greenford United before the pair left after the 2011/12 season. He then returned with Shipperley to North Greenford United in October 2012 after Jon-Barrie Bates left by mutual consent.

He also played in the Football League for Reading F.C./Reading, Grimsby Town F.C./Grimsby Town, Colchester United F.C./Colchester United and Torquay United F.C./Torquay United, as well as playing in the Scottish Football League for Partick Thistle F.C./Partick Thistle, Hamilton Academical F.C./Hamilton Academical and Clydebank F.C./Clydebank.

Alan signed for us early in the season, but hasn't been able to play for the past couple of months because of work commitments. He's available now, however, and too good a player for us not to make use of.
