I remember her calling me and just crying, almost uncontrollably. It was very sad.

As coaches, we haven't had to do much motivating. Seniors do a good job of motivating themselves, and these girls are easily motivated. We talk a lot about goals on this team. Anything less than a return trip to the state tournament would be a disappointment to these girls.

I'm sure a big part of her is sad as she watches all of her friends and teammates play, knowing she can't do the same. But she's still important to our team. She's there every day. Everyone admires her for that.

She lettered as a freshman, and not that many freshman letter for me.

This is so much bigger than the loss of a game. This is the loss of a great, great group of girls. I have no doubt that they're going to go on to do great things in their lives.

These girls deserve it. They come to practice and they are ready to get after it. They are a joy to coach.

Rebounds just killed us in the first half. When you give a team two, three chances at scoring, it's going to hurt you.
