We didn't do a very good job of executing our half-court offense in the second half, but fortunately, we had built such a big lead that we were able to hang on.

Brittany (Strohmeyer) hit some big free throws for us in overtime, and she made a big play on the defensive end as well. We played with a sense of urgency in the second half that we lacked in the first, and Heather (Harper) was really solid for us in the second half.

Megan (Couch) hit a couple of big shots late in the game for us, and Brittany (Strohmeyer) did a good job of taking care of the ball and knocking down some critical shots at the end of the game.

Bloomington North is a good team, and Guyton is a really strong player. We did a good job on her (Guyton) in the first half, but she controlled the paint in the second half.

The girls did a really nice job against a very tough Plainfield team.

We made some offensive adjustments at halftime, but they just exploited what we were trying to do with our four-man front. We lost to a good football team. We're going to take this loss like men and get up off the ground and we'll come back next week and give it our best effort.

We didn't do a good job early on of communicating, and we just couldn't get into the flow of things.

I just learned a valuable lesson in coaching from the teacher. What you learn is you have to get in a great shape so that your best players can stay on the football field the whole game. We'll be a better football after having played them.

We just didn't play well at all offensively tonight. Our defense played well enough to win, but our offense just didn't execute.
