At this point I don't feel like any of our players are freshmen. They've competed in the fall and have grown and matured through the off season. Hopefully we can relax and try to get off to a decent start.

We accomplished a lot of goals at this event. Playing a competitive round shakes off some rust and determines our strengths and weaknesses. This gives us some direction for our upcoming match in Dallas on Saturday.

After three weeks off, we're anxious to get back to competing. The conditions down there will be quite firm, so we'll have to adapt to that. I feel like we gained some confidence from our last tournament and hopefully we can use the lessons we learned there to improve again this week.

Managing expectations is our main thing this week. We need to play confidently, but also understand we're trying to accomplish our own goals. If we play own game, we can win the golf tournament.

This weekend is about finding out who is playing well and who has come out of the off-season ready to compete. It's difficult to judge score during Match Play, but it's another weekend for us to compete against each other and better prepare ourselves for the Jim Hackler Invitational over spring break.
