Like anything else in venture capital, you tend to allocate capital to those companies that can yield the highest returns. It would have been a mistake to invest substantially when it was apparent that we would not be receiving great returns.

We are disappointed we did not get the outcome we first expected, but we were very selective, and I'm glad we didn't do it on a broader scale.

We haven't been burned too badly. It will take three to five years for us to deliver the value, both financially and strategically, to our investors, and I think we're off to a great start.
