We treated this like a regular-season game. Whether they did or not, who knows?

It just got hit with a face mask early in the first half, ... It's not even an issue during the regular season, but probably contributed to me not playing in the final (exhibition) game.

It all looks good right now on paper. We should be scoring a lot of points. But we have to go out and get it done.

This year we can get into our three- and four-receiver sets and really get in depth with them. We have 20 or 30 specific things for them, and I'm sure it will be even larger by the time we get to the opener against the (San Francisco) 49ers.

For me personally, this is as happy as I've been going into the year.

It wasn't too bad in the playoffs because the cortisone was working, but that started to wear off, ... And after the Atlanta (playoff) game - I took a pretty good beating down there.

I don't think we've been consistent, that's what the preseason is for ... At times, we've looked pretty good.

I was supposed to take three or four weeks off.
