"Malik Rahim" is a former Black Panther Party/Black Panther, and a long-time House/housing and prison activist in the U.S. state of Louisiana. He gained publicity as a community organizer in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
In 2008, Rahim ran for Louisiana's 2nd congressional district seat of the U.S. House of Representatives as a Green Party (United States)/Green Party candidate, but lost to Republican Party (United States)/Republican candidate Joseph Cao.
