This early in the year that's phenomenal. I mean that is really quite amazing. Another highlight of the day for us ... I can't remember when Capital has won all three throwing events in a track meet. And I've been coaching a long time.
We're starting to get our kids together now. During spring break we had kids all over the world. If we can get some good days of training, maybe a little warmer than today ... I think that things will start to happen.
West is a heck of a club. They've got very good flat track speed.
It always comes down to times, heights and distances.
They're going to be quite good and we're very happy with them.
That'll be a good meet for us. We'll go down there and find out just who we are.
This type of meet is instrumental in developing the younger kids. We're always searching for that young athlete to take the next step up to the varsity.
The Class B schools usually compete in their regular events, but Capital and Helena will probably be trying some kids in events other than what they normally do.
We're starting to find that there are some young kids starting to step up.
