"Lester Don Holt, Jr." (born March 8, 1959) is an American news journalist who anchors the weekend editions of NBC's Today (NBC program)/Today Show and NBC Nightly News. He is also the anchor for Dateline NBC. As of February 9, 2015, he is the interim weeknight NBC Nightly News anchor, filling in for suspended primary anchor Brian Williams.
