I did not push Paul or Leo to come into the business. I let everything happen as it would, but I was very pleased and very proud that they did decide to come into the business.

If they got trouble, they would be sent here and I would put them to work. But they weren't here very often.

My brother Morris really started a lot of what Underwood's became. The first dining room opened in 1951, in Lubbock. Brownwood was the second place where we had a dining room.
