It's just great to win a ball game after our many games of frustration. Our kids made some great defensive plays. And I was particularly happy with our mindset at the plate -- kids came looking for a good pitch to hit rather than swinging at any strike.

It was a see-saw game. We actually played well. We did everything well except win.

He's a senior -- you expect your seniors to rise to the occasion when asked to do something. That's the job of the seniors and he came through for us.
