We have to focus on playing solid defense to minimize scoring opportunities for our opponents because we probably aren't going to put up the numbers we put up last year. But winning by one or two is the same result as winning by four or five.

I'm just coming down a little from the emotion. I thought we played with a lot of emotion and a lot of heart today, and did the little things and put the puck in the net enough times to pull out a huge win for us.

I think ideally we would like to stick with a lineup here down the stretch. That would be the goal, but I'm not going to rule out the possibility of tweaking it if we think we need to at some point.

We've tweaked our lineup once again. We're still looking for the combinations we feel will be our long-term answer.

It's understandable that it's still a topic. Women's hockey is going to be in the spotlight internationally, and I'm looking forward to seeing those former Gophers out there representing the United States.

We've been planning for this for a while. We're not panicking by any means. All the top-end players are out of college hockey [this season]. The cream of the crop is playing in the Olympics. It affects a lot of teams, and I believe it affects us the most. But I also believe we have more depth than people realize.

We should have pride in people coming to our barn in front of our fans. Hopefully that will be the case because we don't have too many games left at home.

That's great. There will be a lot of parity throughout our sport, which will make for a lot of close games.

For some reason, we seem to have a hard time scoring against this team. I'm just excited we were able to pull out an overtime win.
