I play defense. That's what I do, and I like doing it. That's tough when you don't get the opportunity to do what you like to do: that's anticipate, beat guys to the spot, get your hands in there, play clean basketball, play good defense.

We weren't executing the way we planned, and it showed. We lost the game in the third quarter no matter what calls were made and what things happened before or after that.

That's a tough situation going against him and not have any cushion. Being in foul trouble, you're not able to use your hands or get too close. He was able to gain an advantage, and that's all he needed.

If this budget goes through as it stands now, it would hold hospitals and nursing solely responsible for everything that has gone wrong in the system, and I would suggest that might not be fair.

I know [Washington] inside and out. I know the calls. I know when those guys run to their spots. I know what plays they're running. I'll even call their plays out [during the game].

I didn't feel like I was their free agent, ... I had to go looking around for offers. I didn't feel like I should be in that situation. So, I was able to move on with no problem.

I guess it makes a difference. You can see during the course of the game - 40 free throws, we get 34 fouls, that's the way it goes, I guess.

This is a long series, and there will be a time when you have to go into someone's gym and win a game.

We have to win on the road. That is basically what it comes down to. We didn't come into this series thinking that we would not have to win in D.C. We planned on it, and that is something that we have to do.
