We played strong defense tonight.
That tournament should be a good challenge for us.
It was nice to get this game under our belts. This is a new gym for us and I think everyone made the adjustment pretty easy. But for us, no matter where we play, we're going to focus on defense.
Everyone shot well for us tonight. Vicky is going to get her points, but we have a lot of other people who can step up on any given night and help us. We've got a good bench this year.
We played with a lot of intensity tonight. We asked our girls to give themselves an opportunity to win. They played really hard and fought back in the fourth quarter. We gave ourselves an opportunity, but we just needed another shot or two to fall.
