The major difference is that in the fall we had 22 percent of college students saying we should withdraw all troops and now we only have 11 percent who say that. However, the percentage of college students who think we should withdraw some troops is much higher.

I think there is often times a lot of speculation about what is the real belief college students have about the war in Iraq, and we're trying to give people that sort of information.

We now know that [this issue] is very important to them and we know a large majority of them want to gradually reduce the number of troops that we have in Iraq.

College students have a lot of things they are concerned about, but the fact that 39 percent is most concerned with the war in Iraq is worth studying because that's about 20 percentage points higher than the general public.
