I give these guys in this clubhouse credit for not just laying down, because even though I was out of the game and frustrated and upset about what happened, these guys still had to go out there and play and give them a fight.

I was just hoping to get out of that inning without having it blow up like it did, ... When you put that much pressure on yourself to make a quality pitch, it's like a time bomb waiting to go off.

I'm just going to keep on going out there and try to get ahead in the count and get guys out quickly instead of throwing six, seven or eight pitches to each hitter, ... If I had all the answers, I wouldn't be in this situation. It's just a battle.

From a positive standpoint, regardless of how I pitched and how frustrating it was to watch me throw, or whether questions arise on whether I'm doing what I should be doing, they still played a great game and our guys didn't give up.

I couldn't seem to get any kind of rhythm, ... I just didn't really didn't have a good feel for being able to locate the ball. Obviously, my pitch count got up quickly and it was kind of wearing me out. I was just hoping to get out of that last inning without having it blow up like it did.
