"Kepler Christoffel Wessels" is a former South African cricketer who captained South Africa after playing 24 Test cricket/Tests for Australian cricket team/Australia. He was the first man to have played One Day International cricket for two countries.

He was a left-handed opening batsman. He played first-class cricket for Orange Free State cricket team/Orange Free State, Western Province cricket team (South Africa)/Western Province, Northerns cricket team/Northern Transvaal, Eastern Province cricket team/Eastern Province and Griqualand West cricket team/Griqualand West in South Africa, for Queensland cricket team/Queensland in Australia and Sussex County Cricket Club/Sussex in England. As of the 2008 season, he was the coach for the Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings.
